I spent a lovely sunny afternoon making this card for my BF's neighbour who is 80 next week. As she is a very sophisticated and glamorous lady I thought I do monochrome as that always looks smart. I really enjoyed making this card and it went really smoothly too. I just hope she likes it!
Hi, I'm Karen, I'm 47 years young! I have two adult children, Rebecca is 28, a solicitor and was married to Rich last Oct o9 ( I will put a picture in when I figure out how to do it!!!). Daniel is 26 and he is a self employed Electrician. My kids are my world and I'm a VERY proud mum. I was divorced ten years ago and am happily single! My babies are my two kittens, Mimi and Misi (very naughty!). I was diagnosed with severe Rhuematoid Arthritis 15 years ago now and although it has been tough at times, I am just about used to being 'disabled' now and can no longer remember what it was like before.
I wish to go back to work (I worked in care for 20 years and then counselling) but until I'm am able I fill my time with making cards.
I started crafting 5 years ago and I'm an addict. My favourite at the moment is stamping (especially magnolia stamps). I am a member of DoCrafts and absolutely love the forum, everyone is so kind and generous and I have learnt and continue to learn so much from them all.
This is a very special card, beautiful in every way with a lovely verse, Ruth x
